"Truly a French experience in this charming 15th century farm turned into country restaurant with wooden beams, large fireplaces and copper pots everywhere. Each dish was wonderful! Foie gras with citrus sauce, veal with tarragon cream sauce and risotto, soufflé at the end! And served by our gracious host and owner Denise who has been there for over 35 years. Just 15 minutes down a country road off the highway between Chartres and Paris."

"Fabulous lunch for Mother's day at a very reasonable menu price of 39€ considering all we got to eat and the super quality. Very tasty entrées with choice of foie gras, aubergine salad, tartar of St Jacques followed by succulent duck, tornados and fish in sauce cooked to a tee. The Grand Mariner soufflé was to die for. Lots of extras before, during and after to round off a great meal. Excellent service and lovely atmosphere in auberge."
