"This was an overnight stop for us whilst en route to the Gironde. We decided to have a change from the usual budget chain hotels and were not disappointed. The accommodation was excellent, spotlessly clean and decorated to a very high standard. The hostess Roselyne was a lovely lady and very welcoming. The breakfast was very enjoyable and included home Madeline muesli, apple juice, cream cheese, preserves at bread. We also enjoyed the locally produced cheese. We give this a first class and 5 star rating and if passing that way again will definitely re-visit. The area is lovely and relaxing. Merci Roselyne."
"This was a wonderful experience from start to finish! Madame greeted us with coffee and invited us to choose which room we would like. All 3 rooms were beautifully presented with fresh flowers and lovely little details. We were also told to help ourselves to extra blankets if needed! The beds were very comfortable and shower room lovely! Breakfast was excellent with fresh bread, croissants home made jam, meat ,cheeses , yogurt fresh apple juice and tea/ coffee. All local produce. In fact when I said how much I had enjoyed the jam she very kindly gave me a huge jar to take home! ||Would thoroughly recommend a stay here....it is a little off the beaten track but well worth it! We hope to return!"
"Wonderful barn conversion. Super clean and tidy, wonderful amenities and the host Rosalyne was attentive and lovely. She went over and above to make us feel welcome, including baking for us. This BNB is actually a working farm but you wouldn't know. Its spotless. Tiny town in the middle of wheatfields but only 20km from Chartres. So peaceful and charming. Rosalyne even gave me her recipe for her Breton cake. Wonderful place to stay."
"This is a charming chambre d'hôte. It is a barn conversion beautifully executed, giving comfort and a bit of luxury but with the friendliness and welcome that can only be achieved when you are staying in someones home. (Even if over the yard from their accommodation.) We loved the extraordinary teas and coffee that we could help ourselves to freely - especially the chocolate flavoured tisanes and the breakfast was of good quality and copious. ||The hostess also showed us round her gite. A lovely place to stay."
"We arrived at La Ferme du Bois Paris in the evening of a cool and rainy day. The place is seemingly in the middle of nowhere and there is no sign with the name as you drive past - but we pulled in the most likely place and were greeted by Roslyn, our host. She showed us to our room on the ground floor - small but perfect for our needs with a desk, plenty of outlets for our electronics, and a large bathroom with shower. There is also a shared dining room we could sit and work at, a station with coffee and tea, and an offer of more to drink if we needed. The internet was fast, for the most part.||||We took a magical evening walk - complete with a sunset and rainbow. Really, what more could we want?||||Breakfast was bountiful and delicious. The communal venue allowed us to enjoy the company of other guests and of Roslyn, too."
