"Fantastic park, activities for kids and most staff kindly spoke a little English for us! Special mention for the lady doing cave art and gentleman doing hunting demos! Museum is great with full English audio guide, however moving between zones to listen wasn’t always obvious and the kids audio was good but very much shorter than the adults it seemed so kids either waited for us or we raced through. A minor issue but maybe make audio lengths closer together when next doing? Amazing location on a very hot day."
"Great experience at the Prehistoric Park much beyond my expectations. We didn't have a full day so arrived early and it was deserted. This is a place that is fun as well as educational. We did the outdoor attractions first. The spear throwing was fun and then the talk about cave paintings was very useful and interesting for our visit to the real ones later in the day. We got to paint using original methods from 16,000 years ago. The fire making demonstration was amazing. We only had a limited amount of time in the exhibition and could have spent a good few hours there. It is great preparation if you're going to see the real cave paintings and prepares you for what to expect and gives a lot of background information. This is one of the best experiences I've been to from an entertaining and educational perspective. I'd definitely recommend you going here before seeing the real cave paintings."
"Fantastic museum. So much to see and do. We saw some very interesting demos of fire making and cave painting, and the actual museum was jaw dropping. Audio guides on different languages and you can do the short or long version as you prefer. Highly recommend a visit here."
"We visited the park with kids (17, 15, and 10 years old). We enjoyed the outdoor and the indoor activities. It took us about 3 hours. If you are coming a long way to visit the park, I recommend combining it with additional activity."
"This is an excellent place to visit if you have any interest in prehistory. Apart from an amazing museum that makes good use of a range of audio visual techniques, there are several hands on activities such as spear throwing and cave art as well as demonstrations in tool and fire making. Our group of two adults and two children loved it. Four very well spent hours."
